Islamabad, Bahria University has announced an opening for the position of Manager at the Bahria Innovation Centre (BIC), requiring candidates with a substantial background in relevant fields and experience in research and development management.
According to Bahria University, the new Manager will be a pivotal figure at the university, liaising with the Directorate of Research, Innovation, and Commercialization (RIC) and handling administrative responsibilities under the university’s head. The role involves implementing university policies at the constituent unit level, managing key performance indicators, facilitating research proposal submissions, and organizing research and development activities.
The candidate is expected to have at least 18 years of education in the relevant domain and preferably five years of related experience. Responsibilities will include compiling data for strategic targets, ensuring policy compliance, and aiding faculty with R and D policy queries. The Manager will also be responsible for reporting on research project progress, coordinating workshops, and representing the RIC in various university committees and research groups.
