Haripur, The Department of Islamic and Religious Studies at the University of Haripur, in collaboration with the Character Education Foundation, hosted a seminar titled “Shaping the Future: Role of Education in Society’s Reform.” The event aimed to explore the impact of educational practices on societal transformation.
According to The University of Haripur, the seminar featured Prof. Dr. Javed Iqbal, President of the Character Education Foundation, as the chief guest. High-profile attendees included the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Shafiq Ur Rahman; Registrar, Mr. Riaz Muhammad; along with deans and heads of departments from various educational institutions. Prof. Dr. Iqbal’s lecture praised the efforts of the university in organizing the event and the Seerah Quiz Competition, which also saw the distribution of significant cash prizes to the winners.
The seminar concluded with the Vice-Chancellor presenting a souvenir to Prof. Dr. Iqbal, symbolizing appreciation for his contributions to the seminar and reinforcing the university’s commitment to fostering academic growth and community engagement.
