Lahore, April 29, 2022 (PPI-OT):University of Management and Technology, Lahore is ranked 601 out of 800 in THE Impact Rankings 2022 edition. Overall 1406 universities have been ranked around the globe of which there are 63 Pakistani universities that succeeded to make a place in THE Impact Rankings. It is noteworthy that UMT has been ranked among the top world universities by THE Impact Rankings for the last three consecutive years which speaks of its commitment to revolutionizing the world by creating an impact on society beyond teaching and research.
THE Impact Rankings are the global performance indexes that assess the performance of the universities in delivering the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.
In 2022 UMT scored the following ranking for the following six SDGs:

SDG4: Quality Education – 401-600
SDG5: Gender Equality – 201-300
SDG8: Decent Work and Economic Growth – 601-800
SDG 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions – 401-600
SDG 17: Partnership for the Goals – 401-600
UMT has performed outstandingly in all the above indexes, particularly in Gender Equality, which shows that the institution provides a diverse and conducive academic platform based on equity and mutual respect. We stand tall for this milestone achievement by UMT.
