Lahore, April 28, 2023 (PPI-OT): A Turkish delegation consisting of Turkish Embassy’s Education Counsellor Dr Mehmet Toyran with Berat Toyran visited Punjab University and called on Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Khalid Mahmood here on Friday. On this occasion, Incharge PU Institute of Languages and Linguistics Dr Maria Maldonado and Secretary to Education Counsellor Turkish Embassy, Islamabad Dr Tahir Shah were also present. The delegation’s purpose in visiting the university was to engage in education related collaboration between the university and the Ministry of Education, Turkiye.
They vowed to provide a Turkish language instructor for the Institute of Languages and Linguistics. The VC stressed the need to enhance collaboration in exchange programs and various other academic spheres.
