Rawalpindi: Tehreek Nifaz Fiqh Jafaria Pakistan (TNFJ) has announced a nationwide observance of the “Day of Solidarity with the Oppressed” on Friday, where protests will be held across Pakistan to condemn Israeli aggression and terrorism. TNFJ’s head, Allama Aghasid Hussain Maqdisi, called on the Muslim community to unify against what he described as global colonialism and ongoing oppression in regions like Palestine and Kashmir.
According to Tehreek Nafaze Fiqhe Jafariya, Allama Maqdisi urged religious leaders, including mosque imams and preachers, to use Friday gatherings to express solidarity with oppressed populations globally and to condemn tyrannical powers. He emphasized the importance of practical support for those affected by aggression and the need for the Muslim Ummah to unite on critical issues impacting the Islamic world, including Israeli actions in Palestine and the plight in Kashmir.
Allama Maqdisi also underscored the need for stricter enforcement of Pakistan’s National Action Plan, calling for robust measures against banned terrorist organizations and the arrest of those involved in supporting terrorism. He reiterated TNFJ’s commitment to resisting oppressors and safeguarding national interests, urging that Friday’s events serve as a reminder of the Muslim community’s collective responsibility to support justice and reject oppression.
The observance will include prayers and public calls for unity, with a focus on the need to counter divisive tactics that have, in his view, aimed to weaken Islamic solidarity. TNFJ intends to sustain efforts to defend the rights of the oppressed until justice prevails.
