Punjab University and SustainaDility Sign MoU for Remote Internship Program

LAHORE: Punjab University Faculty of Commerce and SustainaDility, LLC have entered into a memorandum of understanding to pilot a structured remote internship program for commerce students. This initiative, formalized at a ceremony at Punjab University Hailey College of Commerce, aims to provide flexible internship opportunities and align academic learning with industry exposure.

According to University of the Punjab, the MoU, effective for twelve months, outlines mutual cooperation in implementing a managed remote internship model. SustainaDility will assist the Faculty of Commerce by sourcing and onboarding host organizations, developing structured internship roles, and providing access to its ARC platform at no cost. This includes training users, supporting alignment with learning outcomes, tracking progress, and issuing digital experience certificates.

The program aims to offer students a combination of remote and hybrid internship experiences, covering four major academic entities of the Faculty of Commerce. Prof. Dr. Hafiz Zafar Ahmad, Dean of the Faculty of Commerce, highlighted the MoU as a significant step in strengthening industry-academia collaboration and enhancing practical learning opportunities for students.
