Karachi: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Sindh President Nisar Ahmed Khuhro has openly criticized the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) for their decision to boycott a recent Sindh Assembly resolution. The resolution, opposing any alterations to provincial boundaries or the division of Sindh, was passed without the participation of these two parties, which Khuhro claims exposes their contradictory stance on Sindh's unity.

According to Pakistan Peoples Party, Khuhro stated that the absence of MQM-P and PTI members during the voting process highlighted their insincerity towards the rights of Sindh's people. He emphasized that while these parties publicly claim to protect Sindh's interests, their actions in the assembly suggested otherwise.

Khuhro further remarked that the Sindh Assembly serves as the protector of Sindh's rights, and the absence of PTI and MQM-P members during the crucial resolution vote was revealing. He criticized the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for his statements made during a visit to Sindh and dismissed them as political posturing.

He argued that the true commitment to Sindh's unity was demonstrated by the PPP's presence and action in the assembly. Khuhro reiterated that despite public claims by PTI and MQM-P to stand for Sindh, their absence during the assembly proceedings spoke volumes about their real intentions.

Khuhro concluded by asserting that the PPP remains steadfast in its commitment to Sindh's unity, both in legislative forums and public spaces, and will continue to safeguard the province's territorial integrity.
