Sunni Movement Deputy Head Criticizes International Response to Palestine Crisis

Rawalpindi, Deputy Chairman Muhammad Shahid Ghori of the Pakistan Sunni Tehreek criticized the international community’s approach to the ongoing crisis in Palestine, attributing the continuous violence to global double standards during a meeting with other central leaders.

According to Pakistan Sunni Tehreek, Ghori emphasized the need for Muslim unity and proactive steps from Muslim leaders to address the situation in Palestine effectively. He expressed deep concern over the role of international financial bodies like the World Bank and IMF in influencing Muslim countries and advocated for a collective rejection of what he termed as economic slavery. Ghori also highlighted the importance of a unified stance among Muslim nations to counteract Israeli aggression and suggested that a united jihad might have prevented the current geopolitical configuration.

The meeting, which also included figures like Muhammad Zahid Habib Qadri and Allama Abdul Sattar Siddiqui, underscored the emotional impact of the Palestinian plight on the Muslim Ummah. The speakers condemned the perceived apathy of Western nations and their support for Israel, which they argue exacerbates the conflict and undermines global peace.
