Sindh Madrasatul Islam University Hosts Reverent Eid Milad-un-Nabi Celebrations

Karachi: Sindh Madrasatul Islam University commemorated Eid Milad-un-Nabi with a fervent celebration organized by the Directorate of Students Affairs and Counselling. The event featured religious recitations, naats, and speeches by students from both the university and SMUI Model School. Participants highlighted the universal mercy and teachings of Prophet Muhammad, emphasizing his role as a beacon of virtue and humanity.

According to Sindh Madressatul Islam University, the ceremony was graced by Vice Chancellor Dr. Mujeeb Sahrai, who, speaking as the chief guest, extolled the Prophet Muhammad as not only the final prophet for Muslims but a mercy for all mankind. Dr. Sahrai underscored the Prophet’s teachings of peace, love, and ethical conduct as foundational principles that can elevate individuals to be both exemplary Muslims and compassionate human beings. He stressed the importance of embodying these virtues in today’s challenging times to genuinely serve humanity.

Dr. Sahrai also commended the organizational efforts of Muhammad Naeem Ahmed, the Director of the Directorate of Students Affairs and Counseling, and his team. The event was attended by university deans, department heads, faculty, and students, reflecting a collective spirit of devotion and respect. The Vice Chancellor called for such participation to extend beyond the university to national forums, fostering a broader engagement with the Prophet’s teachings across communities.
