Rising Punjab Games to Host Athletics and Table Tennis Competitions in Lahore

Lahore, The third phase of the Rising Punjab Games 2024 will feature athletics and table tennis competitions from January 30 to February 2 at Nishtar Park Sports Complex (NPSC). This phase follows the successful completion of earlier events in the multi-sport extravaganza, highlighting the region’s sports talent.

According to Sports Board Punjab, the preparations for these competitions have been finalized under the guidance of Director General Sports Punjab Dr. Asif Tufail. The athletics events will be held at the Punjab Stadium, while the table tennis matches will take place in the NPSC Gymnasium Hall. These arrangements aim to ensure that the competitions are conducted smoothly and to a high standard.

The Rising Punjab Games 2024, a significant sports event in the region, has already seen the completion of two phases. The first phase, which ran from January 18 to 22, included hockey and volleyball competitions. The second phase, from January 23 to 27, featured football and badminton events, all held at various venues within the Nishtar Park Sports Complex.

The Games are a showcase of Punjab’s sporting talent and are part of a broader effort to promote sports and physical activities in the region.
