Punjab University IAP organized the Post-Pandemic Awareness Campaign

Lahore, December 07, 2021 (PPI-OT):Institute of Applied Psychology, University of the Punjab organized the Post-Pandemic Awareness Campaign- Insight into Mental Health Challenges and Guidelines by Foreign Experts, chaired by Prof. Dr. Rafia Rafique; Professor/ Director, Institute of Applied Psychology. The first speaker, Dr. Muhammad Iqbal Naeem, Consultant Psychiatrist and Senior Lecturer in Psychiatry at University of Manchester spoke on the “Psychology of Verbal and Non-Verbal Communication” and highlighted its importance while dealing with clients and in Psychology.

The second speaker, Dr. Nosheen Sheikh is Consultant Psychiatrist, Visiting Psychiatrist at District Health Boards and Hospitals in New Zealand. She spoke on “Spirituality as an Evolving Paradigm in Well-Being”. She emphasized on the role of Spirituality in improvement of Well-Being and the difference between Spirituality and Religion. These seminars were attended by the faculty members. The third Seminar is to be held on 10th December, 2021.
