Punjab University HRDC Conducts Faculty Orientation Program

LAHORE, The Punjab University Human Resources Development Centre (HRDC) held an inaugural ceremony for a four-day Faculty Orientation Program. The event was attended by PU VC Prof Dr Khalid Mahmood, Dean Faculty of Business, Economics, and Administrative Sciences Prof Dr Mumtaz Anwar Chaudhry, Director HRDC Prof Dr Kashif Rathore, Director ORIC Prof Dr Shakil Ahmad, and Director Institute of Administrative Sciences Prof Dr Yaamina Salman among other faculty members.

According to University of the Punjab, the orientation program aimed to familiarize new faculty members with their institutional and job contexts. Dr Khalid Mahmood stressed the importance of early career stage orientation within the university’s institutional framework. Prof Dr Kashif Rathore provided insights into Continuing Professional Development and HRDC. The orientation included a faculty debate segment on ‘Managing Subjectivity in Modern Learning Environments’, with participation from the Vice Chancellor, Dean, and Director of HRDC.
