Lahore, Pakistan’s fast bowler Ihsanullah is progressing well in his recovery after elbow surgery that took place 11 weeks ago. Post-operative care has been ongoing at the National Cricket Academy, with the athlete now approaching functional training.
The Pakistan Cricket Board reports that the operation, conducted by a doctor from England, was followed by strict post-operative care, including a four-week period in an elbow brace. Ihsanullah began active rehabilitation subsequent to the brace’s removal. Recent MRI and CT scans indicate a satisfactory healing process, with the expectation set by doctors for Ihsanullah to resume functional training after 16 weeks of recovery.
