Lahore, The Faculty of Agricultural Sciences at Punjab University (PU) held the ‘Entrepreneurship Gala 2024’ to foster an entrepreneurial mindset among its students, encouraging them to become innovators and job creators in their fields.

According to University of the Punjab, the event was attended by prominent figures including Member of National Assembly Shaista Parvez Malik, Former Federal Minister Abid Sher Ali, and other notable guests. Shaista Parvez Malik highlighted the importance of instilling entrepreneurial skills in the youth, while Abid Sher Ali praised the university’s impact on its students’ success. Dean Prof Dr. Saleem Haider spoke about the quality of education in agricultural sciences at PU, noting the department’s recognition in international rankings. The event featured student stalls showcasing their projects, which were well-received by visitors.
