Khairpur, June 25, 2022 (PPI-OT):Mr. Muhammad Murad Pirzada, Director Physical Education, Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur has announced that the Prime Minister Youth Program-Weightlifting (Provincial) League Sindh Competition organized by the Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur in collaboration with Higher Education Commission, Islamabad will be held from June 27-29, 2022. The teams from Karachi, Hyderabad Shaheed Benazirabad, Sukkur and Larkana Regions will participate in this league. Prof. Dr. Khalil Ahmed Ibupoto, Vice Chancellor, Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur will inaugurate this national event on June 27, 2022 at Syed Qaim Ali Shah Indoor Sports Complex of University.
In this regard, the Director Physical Education said that from March 14-28, 2022, the trials were conducted in the above five regions. Ten players were selected from each region. 100 players will participate during the course of competition. The event will be organized with the technical support of the Sindh Weightlifting Association. He said the purpose of Prime Minister Youth Program-Weightlifting (Provincial) League Sindh Competition aimed at to promote the spirit of sports, culture and sense of healthy competition among the youth of the Pakistan especially at the Universities. The Concluding Ceremony of this event will be held on June 29, 2022.
