Khairpur, June 25, 2022 (PPI-OT):The 69th Birth Anniversary of First Lady Prime Minister of Islamic World Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto was commemorated at Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur organized by the Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Chair. The cake cutting ceremony was performed by the Pro-Vice Chancellors of Ghotki and Shahdadkot Campuses and Deans of various Faculties including Director Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Chair.
Prof. Dr. Chandan Lal, Pro-Vice Chancellor Shahdadkot Campus, Prof. Dr. Maqsood Zia Shah, Pro-Vice Chancellor Ghotki Campus, Prof. Dr. Taj Muhammad Lashari, Dean Faculty of Social Sciences, Prof. Dr. Pir Bux Ghumro, Dean Faculty of Natural Sciences and Prof. Dr. Amir Hussain Shar, Dean Faculty of Management Sciences spoke on this occasion.
They shed light on the marvellous services and untiring efforts and struggle made by Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto. They said that she fought against dictatorship, tyranny and undemocratic rules in the country. Her struggle will be remembered in the annuls of history for the promotion of democracy, human rights, fundamental freedoms and constitutionalism.
The said that Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto was legend politician and icon of democracy. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Saleem Rahpoto, Director of the Chair welcomed the guests, teachers, officers and employees in the ceremony. He also accorded especial thanks to Prof. Dr. Khalil Ahmed Ibupoto, Vice Chancellor for his patronage to organize this memorial event on the 69th Birth Anniversary of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto.
Prof. Dr. Amir Ali Chandio, Chairman Department of Political Science, Dr. Naveed Ahmed Shaikh, Director Postgraduate Studies, Prof. Shahida Amir Chandio, Dr. Amjad Mughal, Mr. Ali Raza Lashari, Mr. Feroz Phulpoto, Mr. Younis Phulpoto, Mr. Raza Muhammad Durrani and large number of teachers, officers and employees attended the ceremony.
