Poonch University Hosts Seminar on Starting Online Business for Students

Rawalkot, The University of Poonch in Rawalkot recently held a seminar focusing on equipping students with the necessary knowledge and skills for launching online businesses, featuring insights from industry experts and alumni.

According to University of Poonch Rawalakot, the event, orchestrated by the Physics Department, aimed to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and practical business applications. The seminar featured keynotes from Asrar Ahmed, a university alumnus and Amazon expert, and Tabinda Ishtiaq, an M.Phil student, who both shared their journey and the intricacies of navigating the digital business landscape.

Highlighting the integration of theoretical education and practical skills, speakers emphasized the critical role of combining academic credentials with digital competencies for success in today’s economy. Dr. Abdul Rauf Khan, Registrar and Dean of the Faculty of Basic Sciences, underscored the university’s commitment to fostering digital literacy by announcing the construction of an IT park within the campus.

Dr. Mian Akif Safin, Chairman of the Physics Department, expressed the department’s dedication to offering platforms that inspire and train students for future entrepreneurial endeavors in the online sphere.
