Political Stability Key to Strong State and Economy, Says Syed Nayar Hussain Bukhari

Islamabad, Syed Nayar Hussain Bukhari, a leading member of the Pakistan People’s Party, emphasized that political stability is essential for a strong state and a stable economy. He called on politicians to avoid fueling enmity and to focus on creating opportunities for development through negotiation. Bukhari urged leaders to respect the constitution and parliament to promote national unity and discourage division.

According to Pakistan Peoples Party, Bukhari mentioned the importance of reducing chaos and maintaining decorum in parliament to ensure that all parties are granted their constitutional rights. He highlighted that the People’s Party supports the Pakistan Muslim League-Government (PML-G) for the continuation of the parliamentary system, stressing that agriculture is the backbone of the economy. Bukhari noted that the increase in wheat support prices during the People’s Party era led to the country becoming self-sufficient in wheat production, and suggested that similar agricultural policies could help reduce national debt and improve the economy.

Bukhari pointed out that political stability depends on avoiding ridicule and insulting behavior in parliament, advocating for constructive dialogue among politicians to resolve differences. He stressed that politicians must elevate their stature to maintain public trust and work towards a unified and stable state.

The statements from Syed Nayar Hussain Bukhari reflect a broader call for political leaders to work together for the common good, recognizing that a strong state and a stable economy require cooperation and a commitment to the principles of democracy.
