PCB Chairman Engages with HBL PSL Franchise Owners on League’s Future

Islamabad, The Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Mohsin Naqvi, held a meeting with the franchise owners of the Habib Bank Limited Pakistan Super League (HBL PSL) in Islamabad on March 6, 2024. The gathering, which included key PCB officials, served as a platform to discuss the league’s successes and strategies for future enhancements.

According to Pakistan Cricket Board, the meeting was also attended by PCB COO Salman Naseer, League Commissioner Naila Bhatti, and Director Pakistan Super League Sohaib Sheikh. Franchise owners took the opportunity to congratulate Naqvi on his appointment as Chairman of the PCB and to commend the board for the successful execution of the recent Lahore and Multan legs of HBL PSL 9.

Naqvi, in his address to the franchise owners, thanked them for their steadfast support which has been instrumental in establishing HBL PSL as a premier cricketing brand. He also expressed the league’s significance as a national identity and invited suggestions to further elevate the quality of the league, signaling the PCB’s openness to stakeholders’ recommendations aimed at improving cricket standards across the country.
