PCB and TikTok Partner to Elevate HBL PSL 9 Fan Experience

Lahore, In a significant move to amplify the fan experience, TikTok has joined forces with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for the ninth season of the Habib Bank Limited (HBL) Pakistan Super League (PSL). This partnership is set to revolutionize the way cricket enthusiasts engage with Pakistan’s premier T20 cricket tournament.

According to Pakistan Cricket Board, the collaboration aims to bring cricket fans closer to the game by providing exclusive behind-the-scenes content, player interviews, and post-match analyses directly through TikTok. With nearly 2 million followers on the HBL PSL TikTok account @thepsl and over 2.47 million pieces of content published under the hashtag #HoJaJazbaati in the last two seasons, the platform is gearing up to deliver an unprecedented fan experience for HBL PSL 9.

Saif Mujahid, TikTok’s Head of Content Operations and Marketing in Pakistan, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, “TikTok is excited to collaborate with PCB for HBL PSL Season 9. We are committed to delivering an unparalleled experience for cricket fans, providing them with access to exciting content and immersive storytelling throughout the tournament.”

Salman Naseer, Chief Operating Officer of the PCB, highlighted the synergy between TikTok and PCB, emphasizing their mutual dedication to engaging cricket fans through creative and captivating content. “As we gear up for another thrilling season of HBL PSL, we look forward to leveraging TikTok’s platform to bring fans closer to the action and excitement of the tournament,” Naseer said.

To further enhance fan interaction, TikTok will introduce official hashtags such as #HoJaJazbaati, #PSLFanzone, #PSLTopPicks, #CricTok, #NawaAayaSoneya, #PSLKiYaadein, and #JashaneCricket. Special HBL PSL filters, curated playlists, and a dedicated HBL PSL search hub within the app are also part of the plan to immerse fans fully in the tournament experience.
