Pakistan Women A Set for T20 Tri-Series Final Against West Indies Women A

LAHORE, The Pakistan Women A cricket team is set to face West Indies Women A in the T20 tri-series final on November 8 at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore. The match is scheduled to start at 1000 PKT, following a toss at 0930 PKT. Fans can catch the action live-streamed on the Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) YouTube Channel.

According to Pakistan Cricket Board, The tri-series involved three teams – Pakistan Women A, West Indies Women A, and Thailand Women Emerging – playing two matches each. Pakistan Women A emerged victorious in both their matches, while West Indies Women A secured a win against Thailand Women Emerging. Thailand Women Emerging lost both their matches in the series.

Pakistan opener Shawaal Zulfiqar and Sidra Nawaz have been notable performers, each scoring an undefeated half-century. West Indies off-spinner Shennata Grimmond leads the bowling with three wickets at an average of 4.33, supported by fast bowlers Jannilea Glasgow, Qiana Joseph, and Jahzara Claxton.

Rameen Shamim, captain of Pakistan Women A, expressed confidence in continuing their winning streak. West Indies Women A captain Rashada Williams is optimistic about turning around their previous loss to Pakistan and clinching the trophy.

Following the tri-series, Pakistan Women A will play two T20 matches against Thailand Women Emerging on November 10 and 11.
