Pakistan Cricket Board Sets Dates for Regional Inter District Senior Trials


Lahore, The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has officially released the schedule for the upcoming Regional Inter District Senior Trials, set to take place from February 15 to March 8 across the nation. This extensive trial process, involving nine panels of selectors, aims to scout talent from 16 different regions, facilitating the formation of senior district teams. These teams are expected to compete in the Regional Inter District Senior Cricket Tournament following the selection phase.



According to Pakistan Cricket Board, the trials are a critical component of PCB’s efforts to harness cricket talent at the district level, with an analyst joining each panel of selectors to ensure a comprehensive evaluation process. The trials will span across various regions including Abbottabad, AJK, Bahawalpur, D.M. Jamali, Faisalabad, FATA, Hyderabad, Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Larkana, Multan, Peshawar, Quetta, Rawalpindi, and Sialkot, covering a wide geographical area to ensure no talent goes unnoticed.



This initiative by PCB is seen as an opportunity to bolster the cricketing framework within the country, offering a platform for emerging cricketers to showcase their skills.
