Bahawalpur, August 18, 2023 (PPI-OT): After attaining independence, it is our responsibility to make individual efforts for the greatness of the country. These views were expressed by Chairman of Iqbal Studies and Philosophy Department, Dr. Muhammad Rafiqul Islam, while addressing the “Presentation of Iqbal’s Kalam” series during the Independence Day 2023 ceremony. A function was organized in collaboration with the Department of Iqbaliyat and Persian Language and Literature.

Speaking at the event, Prof. Dr. Rozeena Anjum Naqvi, chairperson of the Persian Department, emphasized the usefulness and necessity of Iqbal’s speech and said that Allama Dr. Muhammad Iqbal has tried to bring the nation of Islam to a center in his speech. He presented the concept of a separate homeland through unity and unity. He clarified that the Muslim nation should avoid imitating western civilization. Chairman of the Department of Iqbalat and Philosophy, Dr. Muhammad Rafiqul Islam, while describing the objectives of achieving Pakistan, said that this is necessary for the development of Pakistan and the improvement of the situation.

That each individual should determine his responsibilities individually. May the beloved country be scented with the fragrance of the flowers of love. He emphasized on the need to follow the golden principles of unity, faith and organization of the Quaid-e-Azam. The organizer of this event was Dr. Muhammad Asghar Sial.
