NUST Holds Annual Networking Dinner in London to Foster Support for Underprivileged Students

London: The National University of Science and Technology (NUST) conducted its Annual Networking Dinner 2024 on August 29 at the Royal Nawab, orchestrated to bolster financial aid for students and reinforce ties with donors and alumni. The event, led by Rector Engr Javed Mehmood Bukhari, featured significant contributions from attendees, aimed at supporting the NUST Endowment for Educational Development (NEED) Initiative.

According to National University of Sciences and Technology, the dinner drew a notable crowd including philanthropists, community leaders, and alumni, all gathered to discuss and enhance support for underprivileged scholars. Dr Rizwan Riaz, the Pro Rector of Research, Innovation, and Commercialization, provided updates on NUST’s recent endeavors, highlighting the university’s commitment to inclusive education. The Mayor of Brent, Mr Tariq Dar, commended the initiative for its role in societal uplift through education.

The event also saw the establishment of the Taoha Qureshi Scholarship Fund, an endowment aimed at providing perpetual support to deserving students.
