Faisalabad, National Textile University Pakistan (NTU) has formed a strategic partnership with International Down and Feather Testing Laboratory (IDFL) Pakistan, establishing IDFL as the official partner for Certifications and Testing Services not only in Pakistan but also across the Asia Region.

According to a news release by National Textile University, IDFL Pakistan operates as the country office for IDFL based in Salt Lake, USA. Their services in textiles extend to a range of domains:

Textile and Fill Testing:

IDFL conducts tests on finished products, textiles, and both natural and synthetic filling materials. To ensure precision, every sample undergoes double testing.

Audits and Certifications:

Positioned as an accredited entity, IDFL holds authority to audit and certify according to prominent textile standards, naming a few as GOTS, GRS, OCS, RDS, DOWNPASS, RCS, RWS, IDS, and J-TAS.

Inspection Services:

With an eye for quality and security, IDFL carries out product QC inspections, collects samples, oversees sterilization inspections, and manages bale locking as well as tamper prevention container monitoring.

Highlighting the future roadmap of this partnership, both NTU and IDFL are gearing up to jointly introduce a series of Professional Courses centered around organic and recycling studies, marking the initiation of their new project.
