National Textile University Embarks on Indoor Plantation Drive for Sustainability

Faisalabad, The Green Youth Movement Club at the National Textile University (NTU) has recently organized an Indoor Plantation Drive, marking a significant stride towards environmental sustainability on campus. The initiative was inaugurated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony by key academic figures, symbolizing NTU’s commitment to a greener future.

According to National Textile University, the event was led by Muhammad Ayub Asghar, Assistant Professor and Dean of the School of Engineering and Technology, Dr. Yasir Nawab. Other notable participants included Dr. Khubab Shaker, Chairman of the Department of Materials, Dr. Danish Mehmood, Advisor Students, Dr. Muzammil Hussain, Assistant Professor, Ms. Nadia Shamim, Assistant Director of Student Affairs, and Dr. Zubair Khaliq, Convener of the NTU Green Youth Movement Club.

The Green Youth Movement Club, working under HEC-YDC/KJM at NTU, is at the forefront of driving initiatives that encourage student participation in environmental conservation. This Indoor Plantation Drive is a part of the university’s broader efforts to promote sustainability and environmental awareness among the student community.
