Lahore, Mohammad Hafeez, former Test captain, has been appointed as the Director of Pakistan Men’s Cricket Team. Hafeez, renowned for his prolific career in cricket, has represented Pakistan in 55 Tests, 218 ODIs, and 119 T20Is, scoring 12,780 runs and taking 253 wickets.
According to Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced this new role for Hafeez, who was recently a part of the PCB Cricket Technical Committee. Hafeez’s cricketing journey includes being part of the winning team of the ICC Champions Trophy in England in 2017. The PCB also noted changes in the coaching staff portfolios, with current coaches continuing at the National Cricket Academy and new coaching staff announcements forthcoming for the series in Australia and New Zealand.
