There was also a discussion on sustainable development and the complete life cycle development of Electric Vehicle systems and sustainable buildings and their real material impact on the environment. Mr. Khokhar is a Chartered Engineer with a background in Metallurgical Engineering and Materials Science. Currently, he is a part of projects that are based on recycling structural steel so it can be reused after being recertified to the relevant grades.
IECE has emphasized green technologies and sustainable development in all of its projects, a concept started and endorsed by UOL through both the Chairman of the Board of Governors, Awais Raoof, and Pro-rector Nasir Mahmood. Mr. Khokhar’s input on structural materials lifecycle development and environmental impact is therefore being implemented into the IECE’s Modular Green Technologies and Electric vehicle development.
