KARACHI: A one-day career counseling workshop was conducted at the Regional Dawah Center in Karachi, aimed at guiding students from Balochistan on career planning and personal development.
According to International Islamic University Islamabad, the workshop was organized under the auspices of its Dawah Academy. Nisar Musa Baloch, a trainer and educationist, addressed students on the importance of aligning future plans with personal interests and aptitudes. He emphasized the value of reflective learning and the development of intellectual and analytical abilities through traditional methods like using pen and paper. Baloch highlighted the necessity of computer skills, language proficiency, and academic discipline to succeed in the modern world, urging students to improve their communication and writing skills.
Coordinator Dr. Shahzad Channa remarked on the role of students as future architects, noting that the initiative aims to provide career guidance and introduce students to emerging disciplines and trends. Dr. Syed Aziz ur Rehman, in-charge of the Regional Dawah Center, discussed the Seerah of the Holy Prophet as a guiding light for personal and professional development.
Representatives from Balochistan Residential College Turbat, Assistant Professor Saeedullah and Lecturer Hafiz Abdul Kareem, expressed their gratitude to the organizers and appreciated the efforts of Dawah Academy, hoping for the continuation of such initiatives.
