IIUI Begins Renovation of Student Hostels with Saudi Support

Islamabad: The International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) has commenced the active phase of its hostel renovation project, a student-centric initiative under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Saad Alahmed, President of IIUI. This effort aims to enhance student living conditions while minimizing academic disruptions. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has provided support for this project as a gift to the university's students.

According to International Islamic University Islamabad, the project involves a comprehensive refurbishment of hostel facilities, including washrooms and shared spaces. A phased execution plan is being implemented, with one hostel currently undergoing vacation to allow for uninterrupted renovations. This process is being closely coordinated with relevant offices to address student concerns responsibly.

In response to student requests and the ongoing examination schedule, the President has directed that full-scale renovations commence immediately after the exams to avoid disrupting academic activities. Interim measures, such as selective painting and improvements, have been undertaken to enhance the immediate living environment for students.

Regular inspections of material samples and verification of specifications are being conducted to ensure that quality and safety standards are maintained. This initiative underscores the President's commitment to student welfare and improved campus infrastructure through careful planning and collaborative execution.
