Islamabad, A delegation from the 39th Human Resource Development course, organized by Dawah Academy for officers of the Pakistan Armed Forces, recently visited the new campus of International Islamic University (IIU). This visit provided an opportunity for the participants to engage with the university’s senior leadership and explore various educational facilities.
According to International Islamic University Islamabad, during the visit, Professor Dr. Abdul Raheman, Vice President of Administration, Finance, and Academics at IIUI, addressed the delegation. He praised the Pakistani Armed Forces as the pride of the nation and recognized the Dawah Academy’s role in providing essential Islamic orientation courses. Dr. Raheman discussed the university’s vision, historical context, and future goals, emphasizing the importance of serving society and promoting the true image of Islam, particularly in combating Islamophobia through initiatives like Paigham-e-Pakistan.
Dr. Raheman also highlighted IIUI’s commitment to academic excellence under the guidance of its President, Dr. Hathal Homoud Aloatibi. He discussed the university’s focus on societal service and the role of higher education in societal building. His insights extended to the impact of education on behavioral changes and the significance of integrating Islamic values in the educational curriculum to guide daily life.
The officers expressed a high level of interest in the university’s faculties, degree programs, and research projects. They also appreciated the constructive impact of their course at the Dawah Academy, describing it as a transformative experience. The visit concluded with a tour of the university’s central library, further enhancing the delegates’ appreciation of IIUI’s educational resources.
