Islamabad, The International Islamic University Islamabad recently held a seminar titled “Solidarity with Pakistan and Youth,” organized by the Students Advisor Office and the Faculty of Engineering and Technology. The event focused on enhancing national pride and offering career guidance to students, with speakers addressing the importance of fostering a positive image of Pakistan and exploring avenues for professional growth.
According to International Islamic University Islamabad, the seminar featured several prominent speakers who emphasized various aspects of national pride and professional development. Dr. Ghufran Ali Khan, the Students Advisor, called on the youth to recognize and celebrate the contributions of Pakistan’s national heroes like Rashid Minhas and Maj. Aziz Bhatti, encouraging a deeper appreciation for the country’s history and achievements.
Dr. Manzoor Afridi highlighted the critical role of prioritizing national interests and promoting active citizenship among students. His talk focused on the responsibilities that young people have towards their country and the importance of their involvement in national betterment.
Dr. Engr. Adnan Aslam Noon, Chairperson of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, provided insights into career planning and the potential of startups, stressing the need for thorough preparation and confidence as students advance in their careers.
The keynote speaker, Muftooh Siddiqi, explored global trends in technology, particularly in digital and smart manufacturing. He emphasized the importance of active learning and adaptability to thrive in the rapidly changing industrial environment.
