Islamabad, The Department of Media and Communication Studies at the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) recently hosted a Campaign Screening Day at the Fatima Block Auditorium. This event featured innovative campaigns by eighth semester female students, addressing a broad range of social, health, and educational issues.
According to International Islamic University Islamabad, the screening was supervised by Dr. Ayesha Sadaf, the program in-charge, and showcased the creative work of students from Semester 8(A) and 8(B). The campaigns highlighted important themes such as women’s safety and defense, wildlife conservation, cleanliness, support for thalassemia patients through blood donations, aid for old age homes, and educational initiatives for street school children.
The event saw participation from notable guests including Vice Air Marshal Aftab Alam Hussain (Rtd.), CEO of the Sundas Foundation, along with Mr. Shameel Ushaq and Mr. Nouman, Marketing Managers from Cheezious. Faculty members and visiting lecturers also attended, making it a significant gathering of academics and professionals.
This initiative by the Department of Media and Communication Studies not only provided a platform for students to exhibit their work but also fostered collaboration with various organizations in Islamabad, enhancing the practical impact of their academic projects.
