Bahawalpur, October 21, 2022 (PPI-OT):Senior Journalist, Former President and General Secretary Bahawalpur Press Club and Chief Editor Roznama Bahawalpur Front Jalaluddin Bhatti today presented a cheque of Rs. 2 lac to Vice Chancellor Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob for flood relief activities.
On this occasion, focal person of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur flood relief campaign Prof. Dr. Asif Naveed Ranjha, Prof. Dr. Shazia Anjum Dean Faculty of Chemical and Biological Science, Prof. Dr. Jawad Iqbal Dean Faculty of Management Sciences and Commerce, Director Alumni Dr. Azhar Hussain, Director Press Media and Publications Shahzad Ahmed Khalid, Prof Dr. Naveed Aslam Mulghani and Dr. Abid Shehzad were present.
The Vice Chancellor appreciated the donations provided by Jalaluddin Bhatti for the flood relief campaign. He said that the Islamia University of Bahawalpur has continued the flood relief campaign in various areas on the instructions of the Governor of Punjab and in this regard, goods worth more than 30 lac rupees have been distributed so far.
This is ongoing and relief activities are going on in flood affected areas. On this occasion, Jalaluddin Bhatti said that the Islamia University of Bahawalpur has shown excellent performance in providing relief to the flood-affected areas. The teachers and students of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur are taking the lead to help the flood affected areas. This is the reason why they have also submitted donations on their behalf to the University Flood Relief Camp which will be delivered to the flood victims.
