Depriving people of their rights and resources of their provinces is an injustice to the entire nation: Bilawal Bhutto Zardari

Karachi, August 29, 2021 (PPI-OT):Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that the PPP government is coming, and all those Imran Khan has fired will be reinstated. Addressing the Workers Convention at Wasan House in Khairpur, the PPP chairman said that it would be the responsibility of PPP to provide employment to the youth.

Criticizing the selected PTI government, Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari stated, “Imran Khan wanted to deprive the people of their basic human, democratic and economic rights. The puppet Prime Minister has plunged the people into a tsunami of inflation.” He added, “The people are hungry, the youth are unemployed, the farmer is not getting the desired price for their crop, the labourer is not getting the reward for his labour. And what is Khan Sahib doing? He is busy celebrating in Islamabad.”

The PPP Chairman said that the puppet Prime Minister had robbed every province. He also warned that when the NFC is not implemented, the 18th amendment is robbed, and injustice is done not only with Sindh but also with Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Balochistan. Injustice with one province is injustice with the entire Pakistan, he added.

Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari further said that the youth with even two degrees is endlessly searching for jobs. “Under a conspiracy, the Sindh Public Service Commission has been locked up, while other provincial public service commissions are active,” said Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari. He also said that Imran Khan had promised to build 5 million houses. But instead of building homes, he conducted a conspiracy where the slums are demolished and the houses of the rich are saved. “Bani Gala is regularized, but the residents of Gujjar Nala are turned homeless,” revealed Chairman PPP.

The PPP chairman said that while Imran Khan has robbed the NFC and the right to employment, the government is also looting the province of its water. He said that the way Irsa has been unfair to the lower riparian has never happened in history. “If they steal our water, children in Thar and citizens in Karachi will continue to be deprived of water. Don’t push us against the wall,” and he warned “We demand a fair distribution of water.”

He also pointed out that the country’s constitution says that wherever there are natural resources, the first right over them will belong to the locals of the area. The provinces from which gas comes out, whether Sindh, Balochistan, or Sui or Ghotki – the people residing in the region have the first right over it.

“We demand that gas be supplied first to the areas from which it is extracted,” said Chairman PPP. He also urged the workers to be ready to intensify the struggle to fulfill the unfinished mission of Quaid-e-Awam Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto. He said that the present selected, incompetent and illegitimate government had been imposed on us. “The Jiyalas are with me to run them out of the country,” he said. “We trusted many friends, but we think they hurt us too, and now we will stand on our own two feet and organise our party. We will drive out all undemocratic forces,” he added.

Meanwhile, Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari offered condolences to Chief Minister’s Adviser Manzoor Hussain Wassan at Wassan House on the demise of his brother and sister. Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari offered condolences on the passing away of the mother and brother of National Assembly member Pir Fazal Ali Shah and Sindh Assembly member Syed Piyar Ali Shah and brother Syed Rafiq Shah and his wife in Ranipur.

The PPP chairman also offered condolences to Pir Fazal Ali Shah and Syed Piyar Ali Shah on the demise of their nephew and former PPP president Qamar Zaman Shah in Khairpur district. Meanwhile, Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari kicked off the third day of his visit to Sindh, where he was warmly received by many party workers and people from Nawabshah to Khairpur.
