Calls for Urgent Inflation Control to Prevent Public Unrest

Karachi, Mufti Muhammad Adnan Madani, General Secretary of the Pakistan Peace Council, has issued a stark warning about the escalating crisis of inflation in Karachi, underscoring its severe impact on public stability and the daily lives of citizens.

According to PAKISTAN AMN COUNCIL, during a meeting at the Quran Academy in Shershah, Mufti Adnan Madani articulated the urgency of addressing inflation, which he described as a major cause of unrest and chaos. He criticized the government’s approach, calling for an end to political patronage and unnecessary expenditures to alleviate economic pressures. Madani expressed concerns that without swift action to curb inflation, public dissent might escalate into significant protests, challenging the authorities’ ability to manage the situation.
