Broadcast Plans Unveiled for ICC U19 Men’s Cricket World Cup

Dubai: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced comprehensive broadcast arrangements for the upcoming ICC U19 Men's Cricket World Cup. The tournament, featuring 16 teams, will commence with three matches on January 15 in Zimbabwe and Namibia, showcasing future cricket stars.

According to International Cricket Council, the tournament will see India facing the USA, Scotland playing against co-hosts Zimbabwe, and Tanzania competing with the West Indies on the opening day. The ICC's partnership with leading global broadcasters ensures live coverage of every match worldwide, allowing fans across the globe to follow the event.

In India, matches will be available on Star Sports and JioHotstar, extending to viewers in Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, the Maldives, Nepal, and Bhutan. SuperSport will cover Sub-Saharan Africa, while ESPN will handle broadcasts in the Caribbean and South America, with Willow TV catering to audiences in the USA and Canada. UK fans can tune in via Sky Sports, with Amazon Prime Video and Sky TV covering Australia and New Zealand, respectively.

The Middle East and North Africa will see broadcasts through Criclife, and South Asian regions like Pakistan will have digital coverage from Myco, Tamasha, ARY Zapp, and Tapmad, alongside linear broadcasts on PTV and Geo Super. Additional arrangements include coverage on TSM in Bangladesh, AF Sports and Lemar TV in Afghanistan, and PNG Digicel in the Pacific Islands.

Other regions, including Singapore, Malaysia, and Hong Kong, will also have access to linear broadcasts, with digital streaming available through ICC.tv. The ICC TV host broadcast coverage will distribute a world feed globally, managed by JioStar. Radio coverage of key matches will be accessible via the ICC website and mobile app, with BBC Test Match Special providing commentary in the UK.
