Islamabad, Bahria University Health Sciences Campus Islamabad (BUHSCI) is calling for sealed bids from GST-registered firms for the supply and installation of a comprehensive vehicle access control system, CCTV, and visitors/attendance system to enhance campus security.
According to Bahria University, the project scope includes a range of hardware and software deployment, testing, and commissioning, aimed at bolstering the security infrastructure at the campus located in Naval Anchorage, Islamabad. The equipment list detailed in the Bill of Quantities (BoQs) includes infrastructural works, e-tag applications for main gate access control, an IP-based CCTV surveillance system with PTZ cameras, and a centralized control room with video wall solution among other security enhancements.
The successful bidder will be responsible for delivering a fully functional system on a turnkey basis, ensuring it meets the technical specifications and end user requirements specified in the tender documents. The project also stipulates comprehensive operational and maintenance training as part of the contract.
Bids will be evaluated as per the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) Rules 2004, with a detailed criterion provided in the tender documents. Interested firms are required to submit their bids by May 15, 2024, with technical bids scheduled to be opened the same day in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives.
The bidding documents are available for purchase upon request at the Bahria University Head Office, with a non-refundable fee of Rs. 5,000. Bidders are also required to provide a 2% bid security of the total bid value.
