Asif Ali Zardari Sworn in for Second Term as President of Pakistan

Islamabad, Asif Ali Zardari was sworn in today as the President of Pakistan for a second term in a ceremony held at Aiwan-e-Sadr, the Presidential Palace in Islamabad. The oath of office was administered by the Chief Justice of Pakistan, Qazi Faez Isa, marking a significant moment in the country’s political landscape. According to Pakistan Peoples Party, President Zardari, who previously served as the President from 2008 to 2013, has become the 14th President of Pakistan to serve a second term. His reelection was secured through a majority vote from the electoral college, which includes members of the Parliament and the four provincial assemblies, conducted on Saturday.
