Lahore, Former President of Pakistan and President of the Pakistan People’s Party Parliamentarians, Asif Ali Zardari, inaugurated the election office of PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari in Constituency No. NA-127 Lahore. During the event, President Zardari addressed party workers and reflected on his political journey and the legacy of the PPP.

According to Pakistan People’s Party, Asif Ali Zardari reminisced about his days in Lahore jail and the visits he received from party supporters, drawing a parallel between his experiences and those of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto. He mentioned planting a mango tree during his incarceration, symbolizing the growth and resilience of the party over the years.

President Zardari emphasized the significance of more than four decades of political struggle, highlighting the pride party workers feel in leaders who have faced imprisonment for defending people’s rights. He expressed confidence in the party’s ability to work diligently towards securing a victory for Bilawal Bhutto Zardari in the constituency, paving the way for his potential future role as Prime Minister.
