Islamabad, August 08, 2023 (PPI-OT): According to a survey conducted by Gallup and Gilani Pakistan, almost 1 in 4 Pakistanis find fault with practice of giving money to organizations for qurbani instead of doing qurbani on their own.

A nationally representative sample of adult men and women from across the country, was asked the question “To what extent is the following practice regarding sacrifice (Qurbani) traditions correct or incorrect? – Giving money to an organization instead of sacrificing at home?” In response, 19% said correct, 34% said somewhat correct, 20% said somewhat incorrect, 19% said incorrect, and 8% said that they don’t know or gave no response.
