Haripur, In a significant move to boost educational collaboration and research, the University of Haripur (UoH) has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Pak Austria Fachhochschule. The agreement aims to enhance academic cooperation and promote joint research initiatives between the two institutions.
According to The University of Haripur, the MoU signing ceremony saw the participation of key figures from both universities, including UoH’s Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Shafiq Ur Rahman, and Pak Austria Fachhochschule’s Rector, Prof Dr. Mohammed Mujahid. The partnership is set to open avenues for joint projects, student and faculty exchanges, and collaborative research endeavors.
The MoU outlines a framework for cooperation in various academic and research domains, focusing on the exchange of knowledge and resources. Initiatives will include joint activities of the Office of Research, Innovation, and Commercialization (ORIC), Technology Park of PAF-IAST, and STP and BIC UoH. These activities are aimed at providing teaching and technical assistance, training programs, student internships, and more.
Prof. Dr. Shafiq Ur Rahman expressed optimism about the partnership, noting, “This MoU represents a significant step towards enhancing our academic and research capabilities. By working together, we can create more opportunities for our students and faculty, and contribute to the broader educational landscape.”
