Rawalkot, A seminar focusing on the emerging trends and challenges in artificial intelligence was held at Jamia Poonch Rawalkot, featuring notable speakers including Dr. Hamad Qureshi, a Canada-based technology expert and Chief Technology Officer of PANNI Management Canada.
According to University of Poonch Rawalakot, Dr. Qureshi elaborated on various aspects of artificial intelligence including its development methodology, governance, and the integration of AI systems with human workflows. He emphasized the necessity of addressing public concerns about automation and promoting the use of AI in higher education to enhance efficiency and reduce manual labor.
Dr. Qureshi also highlighted the historical transition from the industrial revolution to the AI era, noting that despite initial concerns, technological advancements have significantly propelled global development. He advocated for the inevitability of AI to maintain transparency and quality in systems and stressed the importance of training the workforce to mitigate privacy issues through proper technology use.
The seminar also included discussions on the application of AI in medical fields, such as medical image analysis and radiology, demonstrating its expanding influence across different sectors.
Dr. Mehboob Alam, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, and Dr. Adnan Rafiq also spoke at the event, underscoring the importance of AI awareness among faculty and students.
