Haripur, The University of Haripur will remain closed on May 28, 2024, in observance of Youm-e-Takbeer, a national holiday commemorating Pakistan’s nuclear tests. This closure aligns with a directive issued by the Cabinet Division of the Government of Pakistan.
According to The University of Haripur, the decision to close was approved by the Vice Chancellor and disseminated through an official circular from the Registrar’s Office. The circular was distributed to all Deans, Chairpersons, HODs, Sectional Heads, and relevant administrative offices to ensure the information was communicated university-wide. This observance will suspend all academic and administrative activities for the day, resuming normal operations the following day.
