Lahore, Prof. Dr. Aneela Anwar, a distinguished academic from the University of Engineering and Technology, has been honored with the King’s Award for Excellence 2024 in London, recognizing her outstanding research contributions and leadership in education.

According to University of Engineering and Technology, Dr. Anwar’s career achievements include receiving multiple awards such as the Women Leadership Award, the Peace Educationist Award, the Emerging Leader Award, and the Best Performance Award. Her work has garnered acclaim both in Pakistan and internationally, evidenced by substantial research grants and numerous publications.

In addition to her academic pursuits, Dr. Anwar is actively involved in the Akhira Project, an initiative aimed at providing financial support to marginalized communities, further highlighting her commitment to social impact. Recently, she also received the PUAN Emerging Leaders Award 2024, awarded by the Pakistan-US Alumni Network, for her significant contributions to education and leadership.
