Lahore, Senior Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Musrat Jamshed Cheema accused the current government of attempting to suppress the party and its founder, asserting that state machinery could not bulldoze the will of the people or their thoughts. In a fiery statement, Cheema defended the resilience of PTI’s leadership and supporters amidst political adversity.
According to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Cheema emphasized that no government ploy could erase PTI’s impact from the hearts of the populace. He reiterated the party’s stance that the country should be governed in accordance with the constitution and laws, advocating for the rights of Pakistan’s 250 million people to make their own decisions. Cheema also highlighted the hardships faced by the PTI’s founder, who he claimed is enduring imprisonment for upholding the rule of law and the constitution.
