Al-Khidmat Foundation Expands Support with Interest-Free Loans and Education Funding

Lahore, Jamaat-e-Islami’s Secretary General, Amir-ul-Azeem, praised the Al-Khidmat Foundation’s efforts in combating unemployment through the provision of interest-free loans and significant educational support during a recent event in the city.

According to Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, Azeem highlighted the Foundation’s extensive work across seven key public service areas, noting its role in providing financial assistance to thousands of men and women to start small businesses. This initiative is notable for its inclusivity, offering support regardless of race, color, or religion.

During the event, Abdul Aziz Abid, Amir Lahore West, detailed the Foundation’s annual expenditure of 437 million PKR on the education of over 5,000 deserving students, underscoring the Foundation’s commitment to fostering education and reducing unemployment among the youth. This support comes at a critical time when many of the country’s talented and educated young people are either moving abroad or planning to do so.
