Lahore, The Virtual University of Pakistan (VU) is set to partake in the global celebration of Cisco’s Girls in ICT Day, emphasizing the critical role of women in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) sector. This event is dedicated to recognizing the pivotal contributions of women to ICT and to motivate more girls to venture into this dynamic field.

According to Virtual University of Pakistan, the initiative is not only a celebration but also an educational opportunity, offering an “Introduction to Data Science” course. This 6-hour self-paced program is aimed at broadening participation, with a special emphasis on female enrollees, to cultivate skills in the increasingly influential domain of data science.
