According to Pakistan Peoples Party, Shazia Marri reflected on Bhutto’s enduring legacy, noting his patriotic zeal and advocacy for citizens’ rights. She reiterated that Bhutto’s establishment of the “one man one vote” concept was a democratic milestone and highlighted his role in uniting Islamic countries and amplifying the voice of Muslims globally. Marri also credited Bhutto with fortifying Pakistan’s defense by pioneering its nuclear capabilities and asserted that his strong advocacy for Palestine remains unforgettable.
In her statement, Marri lamented that Bhutto’s judicial killing was a grave loss for the nation and speculated on the progressive path Pakistan might have taken had he lived.
