Lahore, Government Elementary School Mangtanwala Village Center Nabipur Kahna, in collaboration with the Punjab Examination Commission and District Education Department, held its School Based Assessment results announcement and prize distribution ceremony recently. According to The Indus Hospital, the ceremony saw the attendance of numerous dignitaries, including Miss Fatima Zahra from the PEC, Munir Ahmad, the District Education Officer of Nankana Sahib, and Pir Najamul Hasan, President of the Labor Wing Lahore of the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz, among others. During the event, students who excelled academically received shields and prizes, highlighting their hard work and dedication.
Pir Najamul Hasan addressed the importance of tree planting as a critical measure against air pollution, asserting that a clean environment is vital for societal health. Additionally, the ceremony included discussions on the dangers of kite flying, with guidelines presented to mitigate associated risks. In a significant session on child welfare, Ghulam Murtaza Malik educated the students on safeguarding against sexual violence and exploitation.
The event concluded with a tree-planting activity, aligning with the ‘Plant for Pakistan’ campaign, demonstrating the school’s commitment to environmental stewardship. The ceremony’s closure featured a report by Chaudhry Waqar Ali Ghag, the Headmaster of the school, commending the institution’s performance and expressing gratitude towards all participants for their engagement and support.
